Experience

Nyanda Smith has established experience across the publishing, government and university sectors — including for the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, Fremantle Press and Curtin University.

As a freelance arts writer, she has written for publications including The West Australian newspaper, ABC Radio Perth, and specialist art journals.

Passionate about independent publishing, she is an editor at the micro-press Lethologica Press and was previously a director of Sybylla Cooperative Press.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (First Class. Hons.) (English Literature) from La Trobe University, and a Master of Communication from Deakin University. She is currently studying a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science at Deakin University.

She is a Professional Member of the Institute of Professional Editors.
